Who We Are

We’re a body of believers in Christ who meet and worship at our facility at 12000 E 31st Street, but most of all we follow Christ in the 6 and a half days we’re NOT at this place.

We’re a body of about 500 believers in Christ with more than 100 children, old and young, rich and poor, Black and Anglo and Hispanic and Asian and Native American.

We believe faith is about who we are when no one is looking, when we’re not performing for someone, when in the deepest place in our heart, we believe what we are doing is for God, whether serving our neighbor, having a quiet moment in prayer, buying something at a local store or being kind to a waitress, coaching a softball team, volunteering at a local school as a mentor, or helping change an injustice for the poor through civic involvement. We do what we do because we believe Jesus did these things when he was on the earth.

But we also recognize we are incredibly imperfect, messed up, and saved by the grace of Jesus Christ and his amazing love for us. We don’t just say, “come be a part of our church” but we want to be a part of who you are and meet you where you are and discover new ways our church lives out our purpose to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world.

We are led by a team of staff members and guided and overseen by a group of loving and godly “shepherds” or “elders” who pray for and visit the sick, give wise counsel, and minister to many spiritual problems or issues that we all face.
