Please pray for my brother, Jon White. My family is very concerned about him as he has been diagnosed with bladder cancer and has been taking chemo and radiation. His oncologist is optomistic because the cancer was detected early. However, he also has a pacemaker and defibulator and just this past Monday was admitted into the hospital because his defibulator stopped working. The doctors are close to straightening it out, but have also temporarily stopped the chemo and radiation. Thank you. Mary Bloxham _____________________

Please pray for my mother, Marcelline Dial. She fell last Thursday afternoon and broke her left hip. The doctor did surgery on it Friday morning, and from what I gather the surgery went fine. Currently she is in Saint Francis Hospital in room 5330. Her direct phone number is 918-494-5330. Mom may have to do physical therapy and physical rehabilitation. Children iShine Live is coming to Tulsa’s Mabee Center Friday, April 23, at 7pm. Geared towards 7-15 year-olds, the concert features current pop and Disney performers who have committed to Christ and want to help other kids find their identity in Him, also. There will be a Garnett Kids Parent Meeting Wednesday, April 21, at 7pm. Check with your family and bring ideas as we discuss summer plans.

SERVICE PROJECT/LOCK-IN! We will have our annual Angel Food Lock in beginning at 7 pm on Friday, April 16. Then we will be helping with Angel Food until 11 am on Saturday morning April, 17. Bring $10 and a snack to share.

BON VOYAGE PARTY! There will be a send off party for Grant Gray and Lexi Johnson after class in the youth hall on Wednesday night, April 14. Please stop by and wish them well as they prepare to leave on a mission trip to Europe. They will be leaving on April 15 and returning on May 31.

Women’s Ministry Meeting Sunday, April 11, in Phillips Hall right after our worship time. Join us for a time of celebration and discussion about the purpose and structure of Women’s Ministry.

Ladies’ Tea The Garnett Ladies’ Tea will be held Sunday, May 2, after worship till 2pm in Phillips Hall. All “Ladies” school age and up are invited. No child care provided for this event. Beginning today, sign up in the Mall for the event to bring your favorite tea food and/or to decorate a table. We will continue to honor our Daughters of Anna at this event. Daughters of Anna Luncheon The Daughters of Anna April luncheon will be held Sunday, April 18, in the Great Room immediately following services. All ladies attending church alone are invited to attend.

Please pray for Steve, the husband of a friend/coworker of mine, who is struggling with back pain. He had back surgery and then removal of the hardware but the pain continues.
