Money Matters! (The Art of Stewardship) It matters how you spend it. It matters how you make it. It matters how you invest it. It matters how you save it. It even matters what you don’t do with it.

This 8 week course, beginning Sunday, May 2, at 9 am, is designed to discuss these matters and many others. Led by Robert Garland and David LeDoux, this is Part 2 in a series of classes designed to offer biblical principles surrounding the practical needs of everyday life.

Money Matters will not only offer insights on how to eliminate debt, but also discuss principles of Godly stewardship of time, resources, energies, skills and gifts. What does the Bible say about how God wants us to use the varied gifts he bestows upon each and every one of us? Please join us for this pertinent class.

Writing Your Life Story Class The Writing Your Life Story Class will begin Sunday, May 16, at 9 a.m. in Room 206. All are welcome, even if you haven’t signed up. For more information, contact Jean Hager at 492-8614.

Community Announcements The Gathering is Coming… and everyone is invited on Wednesday, May 5. From 5-7 pm in Phillips Hall we will begin with our community meal prepared by Chef Roy Victory and then from 7-8 pm in Phillips Hall everyone is invited to stay for worship, led this month by our very own Garnett Student Ministry Worship Band, and then a short devotional message designed to connect and inspire us during the chaos of our week. Come as you are and Gather with us. (Special thanks to Jeffrey Deavenport for creating the new name for our Wednesday night time together!)
